Water possesses the characteristic of flowing, making it hard to find stationary water in nature. Water flows in straight lines, but when it encounters obstacles, it bends and creates new paths when needed. It flows rapidly in some places and slowly in others. The ceaseless flow of water seems to support all living beings in the world. I expressed the path of flowing water through brushstrokes in oil painting, capturing various forms of flowing water as still objects by placing recognized objects along the path and holding onto the phenomena that occur by chance.
